Reception Class Teacher

Merritts Brook E-ACT Academy is a successful, thriving and nurturing school with enthusiastic and happy pupils who enjoy learning. We are a friendly, committed and highly motivated team who strive for the best outcomes for all our pupils as well as ensuring every pupil has the chance to fulfil their potential. 

We are seeking to appoint a fixed term maternity cover Reception Class Teacher to start September 2018.  We are a one form entry primary school based in South Birmingham. 

You will need to be a consistently, outstanding/good teacher, have a passion for education and learning with the ability to motivate and inspire pupils.  You will need to share our determination in preparing children for the next stages of their educational experience.  Finally we will want you to be committed in your role in making a difference to our pupils, the Academy and the wider community.  The role is suitable for an NQT and a full NQT support and induction package will be available.
