Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are to hold QTS.

The role

Smart Teachers are seeking to recruit a Reception Teacher to join a large, 2 form entry school in Willesden, North West London. The successful Reception Teacher will be responsible for the planning, delivery and assessment of the EYFS curriculum. The successful Reception Teacher will work collaboratively with the Nursery Teacher, with the entire Early Years being open plan and free flow. This post is a maternity contract and will initially run until July 2022. Both experienced teachers and NQT’s are welcome to apply.

The school is well known for it’s deep rooted sense of community and encourages active parental involvement throughout the school. The school has improved vastly since its last Ofsted inspection with significant improvements being noted across all standards during the last inspection, with the Early Years being highlighted as a strength of the school. This is a great opportunity to work alongside a team of educators who are committed to ensuring each child is able to fulfil their potential. The role is for the duration of the 2021/2022 academic year, with the possibility of re-employment for the 2022/23 year and beyond. 

Requirements

To be considered for the Reception Teacher position, you will:

• Hold an enhanced DBS 

• Have previous experience working with children in the UK in the past 2 years 

• Hold QTS
