Bearsted Primary Academy has an exciting opportunity to appoint a Receptionist/Administrator to join and enhance the work of the administration team at our brand new school. This is an exciting and rare chance to join a school from the very beginning of its journey and play a pivotal role in its success and development, laying the path for future years. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a busy reception area, and be confident in providing a professional, welcoming, efficient service. The candidate will be able to work flexibly under pressure, use their initiative and prioritise their workload.  You will also undertake a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship delivered by LAT Apprenticeships.


This position offers an actual salary of £8,439 per annum. The basis is 37 hours per week, Term time + 1 week of inset (8.15am - 4.15pm with 30 minutes for lunch, finishing at 3.45pm Thursdays). The role is initially offered on an 18 month contract, with every intention to make permanent thereafter based on successful completion of the apprenticeship programme.


Please note that interviews will be conducted the week commencing Monday 15th June 2020. Due to the current pandemic, the role is likely to be based at Langley Park Primary Academy until the new building can be opened.

Bearsted Primary Academy: Bearsted Primary Academy, opening in September 2020, will be welcoming its first cohort of Reception children of up to 60 pupils, two classes of 30 in each. Every year we will continue to grow our academy until we reach full capacity of 420 pupils across Years R - 6.
