We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and well-organised Receptionist/Administrator to join our busy Main School office team.
The successful candidate will need to have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, be approachable and responsive to enquiries from staff and students. Experience of working in a busy reception/office environment is essential. Hours of work will be 8:30am to 1:00pm Monday to Friday.
Clitheroe Royal Grammar School is a mixed selective 11-18 Single Academy Trust with 1,427 students on roll including 646 in the Sixth Form. Our Chatburn Road site is where our heavily over-subscribed Main School is located; we currently have 781 Main School students on roll, set to increase to 900 by September 2027.
The school is a centre of excellence and one of the highest achieving schools in the country, we were judged ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in November 2022. Our school is renowned for high quality teaching and learning, outstanding pastoral care and extensive extra-curricular provision.
The closing date for applications is 12:00 noon on Thursday 16th May 2024 and interviews are expected to take place week commencing 20th May 2024.

Clitheroe Royal Grammar School is a mixed selective 11-18 Single Academy Trust. The Main School (Years 7-11) is at our Chatburn Road site where we currently have 782 students on roll, set to increase to 900 by September 2027.
The Sixth Form Centre is housed at the York Street site. We have 650 students in our Sixth Form from over 40 secondary schools. Students study a wide range of A Level subjects. The majority of our Sixth Form students go on to Higher Education, with most progressing to their first choice destination.
