A Receptionist is required to provide excellent front-of-house service to all visitors, staff, students, governors and parents at the Academy. The Receptionist will answer incoming telephone calls, greet visitors and parents and provide efficient administrative support. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, be approachable, professional and have a welcoming and enthusiastic manner. Experience in an administrative role and expertise on good customer service are key to this job. The ideal candidate will be able to work pro-actively both independently and as part of a team. Good general office and administrative skills are also desirable.
The successful candidate will have daily contact with students, their parents / carers and staff and therefore must have the ability to relate effectively to a variety of adults and young people and be able to adapt their communication to that end.
In addition the successful candidate will take on the role of Co-Ordinating the Academy’s on call First Aid system. They will ideally be first aid trained or be willing to undertake training.
