£18,426 per annum pro-rata for

26 – 28 hours per week, term time only plus 5 days (new scales apply from 01/04/19 (hours pattern to begin at 7.45am and end around 4.30pm, to discuss)

Closes Monday 25 March 2019 at 9.00am, with interviews later that week

We are seeking to appoint a Receptionist who will provide an effective and friendly first point of contact for students, parents, carers and visitors on all matters relating to school life. Ensuring all visitors are directed to the correct advice and guidance or issued with information in a timely manner. A key part of this role is effective safeguarding of all.

PRIME OBJECTIVES OF POST:

To provide executive office support within School Reception, working under the direction of the Office Manager. The school has two Reception points, Visitor and Student. Whilst this role is primarily based in main reception with visitors, the role will remain fluid and training on all aspects of reception duties in both areas will be covered. A key part of the role will involve the welcoming of supply and cover staff.

You will join a team of colleagues, led by the Office Manager. The office team undertake a wide variety of key roles in delivering an executive service across the school, this will involve amongst many other duties, first aid. You should be able to communicate at all levels, multi-task and be comfortable working in a fast paced environment on which many demands are placed.
