Horsforth School is seeking to appoint two Receptionists who either possess an Emergency First Aider certificate or are willing to undertake the necessary training in order to do so.

Due to an increase in student numbers we are looking for two Receptionists to join our team. Start time for these roles will be discussed at interview but we’d be looking to cover an 8/8.30am start and a 4/4.30pm finish.

We believe in ‘opportunity and achievement for all’, are committed to gaining the highest outcomes for students and develop the best opportunities for staff.

Join us now and you will become part of a highly successful school with a supportive, collaborative and creative ethos. This is a new role and will be a vital one. The successful candidate will possess excellent inter personal skills, good IT skills, be flexible, with a ‘can do’ attitude and be sensitive to the needs and perspectives of others.  Duties will include manning the student reception, providing administrative and first aid/emergency first aid support primarily to students, but also to staff and other stakeholders on site.

We offer membership into the Local Government Pension Scheme which remains one of the most generous schemes around.  In addition to your contribution into the scheme, the school contributes 14.8%.

This post represents an opportunity to join a consistently oversubscribed school, which enjoys strong community and international links.  The School’s commitment to excellence in education is recognised nationally.   Ofsted describe us as a ‘good school with outstanding features’. We offer a nurturing environment within which everyone can reach their full potential, behaviour is graded ‘outstanding’.
