The College requires a Receptionist to provide excellent customer service and be the first point of contact to visitors to the College. This role plays a vital link for students, parents, staff and other stakeholders, and the day-to-day duties will be busy and varied. We are looking for a candidate with exceptional communication and organisation skills to join our friendly staff in our successful and growing College. We expect high performance from all our staff, and candidates should demonstrate their ability and suitability to both the role and the culture of the College.
The College reception is staffed from 8.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday during term-time (39 weeks per year), and also on GCSE and A level exam results days in August (4 days total). During term-time, lessons run from 8.45am through to 4.00pm, with various enrichment activities extending the College day.
Start Date: December 2018
Salary: FTE is £17,700 plus £1,004 fringe allowance per annum
Actual salary £16,394.94 per annum (inclusive of pro rata fringe allowance) for 37 hours per week, term-time (39 weeks per year) plus 4 days
Hours: 8.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday during term-time, plus 4 days over GCSE and A Level results days in August each year
