The role

A vacancy has arisen for a Recruitment & HR Administrator who will provide an efficient end to end recruitment service for non-teaching staff and delivers day-to-day high quality, accurate and timely administrative support as part of the wider HR team. You will assist with advertising vacancies, courteously communicate with applicants throughout the recruitment process and complete all the detailed regulatory information and paperwork needed before the start date so that the department can welcome new starters to our School in a timely manner that is valued by our line managers.

The skills

You will have previous experience as an HR generalist in a busy office, used to responding swiftly and efficiently to support your colleagues and being flexible to assist others when needed. Your appreciation for detailed processes and meticulous eye for detail will ensure that every step of the recruitment and onboarding process runs smoothly, and your warm, friendly personality will enable you to keep in contact with applicants to ensure that they provide us with the information needed for pre-employment checks. You will establish a reputation for reliability and professionalism and will enjoy working in and a friendly, supportive team within our vibrant and historic environment.

The organisation

Harrow School is situated in a beautiful site in Harrow on the Hill in north-west London. It is one of the best-known schools in the world and has around 840 pupils. The HR Department is a team of nine specialists who provide the full range of HR services across the School for teaching and non-teaching staff.
