SALARY: £12,120 pa

HOURS: 22.5 hours

LOCATION: Flexible working, including working from home and the Charity Office. Some work will be required within our other BeyondAutism sites.

HOLIDAYS: 25 days pro rata per annum plus public holidays.

REPORTING TO: Head of Research and Learning


About BeyondAutism

BeyondAutism is a charity dedicated to ensuring that children and young adults with autism access education that empowers a life full of opportunity, choice and independence. 


BeyondAutism run two Independent Special Schools for children with autism aged 4-19, a Post-19 service, Outreach and Training and an Early Years’ service. We are seeking a self-motivated and energetic Head of HR to work with the charity team and lead the HR function within the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a wide range of generalist skills and be playing a key role within a small and committed team, supporting the staff and the organisation’s strategy.


Job purpose


To provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Research and Learning team, within a growing charity and department. 


Key responsibilities 

• To support the Research and Learning leadership team in the day to day running of the service.

• Calendar management for the Research and Learning team, specifically tracking and booking of outreach consultants.

• Provide administration support for meetings both in person and virtual. 

• Manage communication for the service, including filtering telephone calls, emails and internal communications. Direct and signpost stakeholders to the right resource or service within BeyondAutism. 

• To operate and comply with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998, GDPR regulations and relevant BeyondAutism policies during the course of undertaking the role.

• To safeguard children, young people and adults at risk at all times.
