Plymouth College is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed graduate to support the Physical Education & Games department at Plymouth College. This role would suit a recent graduate with expertise in Rugby/Football or Cricket. This job would suit a graduate taking a gap year after University who may be considering a future in teaching Physical Education or coaching Sport. This role is a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience and training in a highly successful and professional environment.

The successful candidate will also undertake a boarding tutor role; whereby they will assist with the supervision and pastoral care of boarders on a duty rota. To be considered you must have a pro-active attitude & the aptitude to work alongside and to engage with young people on their level, inspiring pupils by actively contributing to the wide range of activities on offer. Prospective candidates should be willing to be involved with the wider life of a busy boarding and day school.

This post is residential, full-time for a 39-week fixed-term contract. (35 weeks’ term time plus a maximum of 14 days during the school holidays). Salary circa £16,000 per annum. This is for the start of the 2024/2025 academic year, September 2024.
