Trent is a successful, oversubscribed selective day and boarding school where pupils receive the individual care and support which enables them to flourish. 

Blake is one of the school's four boarding houses with capacity for 34 boys, aged 15 to 18. The boarding community at Trent College comprises flexi, weekly and full boarders and this is reflected in the Blake House community.

A clear commitment to high standards of pastoral care, the ability to work in a team and a willingness to play a full part in the boarding life of this vibrant school are essential aspects of the role.

We welcome applications from teachers with any specialism who will be expected to share our commitment to ensuring high standards in the classroom. Applications from suitably experienced candidates who are not teachers will also be given full consideration. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate outstanding credentials for, and a clear understanding of, leadership of a boys’ boarding house and its associated team of teaching and support staff.

Applicants should have a clear understanding of independent education, the National Minimum Standards for Boarding and be able to demonstrate a commitment to their own continuing personal and professional development.

The salary package will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and includes a generous school fee discount, accommodation and complimentary use of the excellent leisure and dining facilities.
