Job overview

Sherborne School is looking to appoint a (Resident) Spanish Language Assistant to work at the School for the  remainder of the academic year 2017-18, ie January to end June 2018.  The successful candidate is likely to be a native level speaker of Spanish and have completed a university degree or be currently undertaking degree level study.  The post provides an opportunity to gain experience of living and working in a boarding school environment, perhaps prior to embarking on a PGCE.  We are seeking confident, well-rounded personalities.

Sherborne is a boys’ independent school situated in the shadow of Sherborne Abbey. Founded by Royal Charter in 1550, the school has roots going back to the origins of the See of Sherborne in 705.
