A Residential house Parent works within the Boarding and Welfare Department of CATS College. 

This post is Residential, so does require that the successful candidate move into the provided single occupancy accommodation. During your role as Residential House Parent, this accommodation is to become your principle home. 

This position averages at 41.5 hours per week and as part of the role, you are required to wake up the student’s in your boarding house between the hours of 0700-0900 Monday to Friday. This is to ensure that all your students are prepared, ready to start their day, and have left the house to attend their college classes. 

A successful candidate will be expected to work under the direction of the Boarding Manager and Lead House Parent, if applicable. As a House Parent you will be our student’s key pastoral care figure in the Boarding Houses, providing high quality pastoral care to our students including ensuring all activities are undertaken in accordance with the students evening timetable. 

Please note that due to the nature of the House Parent Role; the Support and Care provided to our students, and current safeguarding legislation, we unfortunately cannot accept applications from applicants under the age of 18.

The Worthgate School offers an outstanding international pre-university educational experience to students aged 14+ from all over the world.
