Fettes College is a leading HMC co-educational boarding and day school close to the heart of Edinburgh. It has a strong tradition of academic, sporting and cultural excellence underpinned by outstanding pastoral care.  We are seeking to appoint a boarding house Residential Matron to work closely with the Housemaster and his pastoral team in Moredun House, a boarding house for boys aged 13-18. The Residential Matron is a responsible and caring individual who will become an integral member of a close and hard-working team.  The role would suit someone who is reliable, friendly, tactful and diplomatic with a good sense of humour and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
