The SABDEN Multi Academy Trust provides specialised education to young people with complex Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH). We are three special schools, a secure unit, a large countywide alternative provision, a vocational free school and one of five teaching schools within East Sussex. We strive to discover success through learning, self-belief and achievement.  Pupils are empowered to take responsibility through a personalised curriculum supported by secure systems.

New Horizons, based in St Leonards on Sea, as part of the SABDEN Multi Academy Trust, is an 'Outstanding' SEMH Special school and we are seeking to appoint a Resource Coordinator into the Admin/Finance team. We are passionate about creating a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters respect for others, develops resilience, promotes high expectations and prepares pupils for successful futures.

The Role: Resource Coordinator, to effectively coordinate and support Multi Academy Trust resource operations (Human, Facilities & Financial Resource Management). Required to start as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will need to be a highly organised individual with experience of financial management and record keeping, either in education or industry. You will have a knowledge of financial management systems, and experience of managing invoices, payments and petty cash. You will be able to prioritise workloads and work effectively to tight deadlines. You will be an effective communicator and able to work as part of a wider school team, and a whole trust team of Resource Coordinators.

The successful candidate will be joining a school that continues to be ambitious in its drive to improve outcomes for our pupils. You will join a highly dedicated and professional staff team and be part of a supportive working and learning environment where your professional development is highly valued.
