An experienced and flexible full time Coach is required to support the school’s ambitious rowing programme. The role involves coaching and teaching rowing from novice to elite level and managing our fleet of boats, including undertaking the organisation required for participation in training camps and major competitions.
To apply, you will have a rowing and coaching background and sound technical knowledge of the rowing stroke and of boat maintenance. Motivation skills to encourage girls of varying abilities are essential, along with the ability to oversee strength and conditioning training. Applicants must be able to confidently drive a launch; a powerboat 2 licence is highly desirable. Possession of a minibus driving licence and experience of towing would be advantageous, together with previous knowledge of the Thames Tideway.
