The Governors are therefore seeking to appoint a committed, dynamic and friendly school administrator to aid in the day to day running of the school office. You will work closely with the school business director and senior school administrator to provide outstanding and professional service to parents and other stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal skills, both face to face and on the telephone, are essential. The ability to maintain the security and confidentiality of the school office are paramount together with a good sense of humour.
Our new school administrator must be able to demonstrate:
- A commitment to support the development of whole school vision, ethos, aims, policies and practices.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills and being able to work to deadlines.
- Provide outstanding stakeholder relations and maintain positive relationships with staff, pupils, parents and visitors.
- High standards of written and spoken English - Grade C+ GCSE or able to demonstrate a similar level of competency.
- Past clerical experience within a busy environment.
Our school administrator will have responsibility for:
- General administration tasks to include production of letters and reports, duplicating and distribution of information, receipt and distribution of registers and other administration tasks as required.
- Communication with parents and other stakeholders.
- Liaising closely with the business director and administration assistant to provide continuity of service and that all tasks are covered.
As a school we can offer:
- The opportunity to work in and shape a newly developing team.
- Working in a fast paced and exciting environment.
- To work with extremely supportive, positive and caring pupils, staff and governors.
