Kantor King Solomon High School is a culturally diverse and welcoming Orthodox Jewish school on the East London/Essex border. The school has a strong religious ethos but is equally welcoming to people of all faiths and of none.   We have been judged as Good by OFSTED and regularly achieves 80% 5 4-9 at GCSE. 

We are looking for a qualified School Business Manager to support the Headteacher as part of the Senior Leadership Team, providing strategic and operation leadership of the school's finances and other core business services. This will include management of business and financial matters, facilities and premises, health and safety and GDPR compliance, and IT services. Additionally, the School Business Manager will work closely with the school's catering provider to ensure high quality provision and value for money.

  • Experience of managing school finances in a secondary setting
  • Experience of health and safety management
  • Involvement in school evaluation and development planning
  • Experience of line management and contributing to staff development
  • Experience of working in a voluntary aided school is desirable but not essential
