The Role

This is an exciting new role within the Trust that will provide operational support to the secondary school’s management team, acting as the coordinator between the school and the Trust Central Operations team, whilst providing on-site and off-site line management support to the Administration teams across a cluster of locally based primary and infant schools.

The role will carry out and ensure effective execution of finance, HR, and other relevant processes, supporting the school management team in transactional requirements, seeking advice and coordinating operational needs.

In addition, the role will line manage and support primary and infant school administration teams, maintaining quality assurance and supporting the teams in carrying out the same finance, HR, and other relevant processes to a high standard, within the agreed frameworks, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all sites.


Key Tasks:

- Support the Secondary school management team

- Line Manage Administration teams across multiple sites

- Ensure consistency in applying agreed ways of working, policies and procedures with advice and guidance from Central Team Operations

- Audit, review and ensure compliancy

- Coordinate financial and HR requirements when required

- Seek to continuously improve processes and the use of IT systems

- Upskill and support the use of IT systems such as Arbor.


About You

You will be a dedicated, enthusiastic individual that is looking to progress in their career or look for a new challenge in supporting the Trust Central Operations Team and the trust school’s to continuously improve and develop as it enters a new era of collaborative working.

Confident IT skills and a good understanding of HR, Financial and operational requirements of a multi-academy trust school setting is essential, as you will be a key stakeholder in the execution, coordination, and continuous improvement of a broad range of systems and processes to support the day-to-day operational needs of the schools, but also to improve the education of the young people.

A participative, coaching and collaborative approach is key as you will be supporting and developing multiple admin teams in utilising and following agreed ways of working, acting as a conduit and positive link between school admin teams, management teams and Central Operations.
