We have a fantastic opportunity for a School Counsellor or Psychologist to join the Penola family until 26 June 2020 with the possibility of an extension for Term 3 2020. This is a full time position.

As the School Counsellor or Psychologist, you will be responsible for the provision of counselling to individual students to support the social, emotional, cognitive, behavioural and educational development of students. The School Counsellor or Psychologist provides both individual and group interventions with the aim of being proactive and preventive.

About You

To be successful you will have a demonstrated ability to be able to build effective relationships and work effectively within a team. You will be an effective communicator in-person, over the phone and in writing with the ability to maintain a calm, pleasant and respectful manner with a diverse range of people. You will also be a member of the Australian Counselling Association or be registered with the Psychology Board of Australia.

You will also have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.
