St Peter’s School, York, is a dynamic, forward-looking HMC independent school for day and boarding pupils based a few minutes’ walk from the historic centre of York.
This role will provide a professional and confidential counselling service to the students of St Peter’s on an individual, in person basis and will also be required to be a source of advice and provide education on mental health and wellbeing for all pupils and staff as part of the whole school approach to mental health. Candidates should be qualified or in the process of qualifying as a counsellor (BACP accredited or equivalent).
We are able to offer two days per week plus a Saturday morning (equating to 10 x 1 hours sessions). In addition, the successful candidate would need to be able to attend a weekly team meeting for 30 minutes and be able to write the notes for each pupil on CPOMS.
Salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
