Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School is a selective-entry, co-educational grammar school located in the centre of the attractive Thames-side town of Marlow, Buckinghamshire. The school has an excellent academic record, placing well on a variety of national league tables, and is very heavily over-subscribed. Standards of attainment are well above the national average, and above those achieved by comparable selective schools at all age levels. This is a part time role including weekend expeditions and expeditions in school holidays.
A full time role could be created for a candidate interested in general games support/ cover teaching - this could be discussed at interview.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic member of staff to continue the leadership of D of E Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards at School, building on the enormous success of the current post-holder. The ideal candidate will have experience of leading the award or have similar experience and interest in outdoor education and sports activities. The role will also include contributing to the school’s sports and fitness programme, and to the cover and pastoral teams.
