School Guidance Counsellor

Part time | 0.8 FTE

Fixed term | Immediate start (negotiable) to 4 December 2020 

$100,114 - $106,521 (on a pro rata basis)

(position arising from short term funding)

The Guidance Counsellor will work collaboratively with school communities to provide a counselling service that facilitates learning outcomes for students and enables quality teaching. 

The ideal candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology or Guidance Counselling coupled with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role. They will possess effective relationship building and influencing skills, advanced interpersonal and communication skills, proven and effective leadership skills, and will be committed to the values and ethos of the Catholic faith.

Based at St Mary's School, Warwick, the Guidance Counsellor will provide counselling service to the following schools:

• St Mary's Primary School, Warwick | P-6
• Assumption College, Warwick | 7-12
