School Improvement Partners (Current Ofsted Inspectors)

Competitive Daily Rate / Consultancy Basis

Our portfolio of nationwide special schools are some of the very best in England.

As part of our approach to maintaining and developing high quality provision we are rolling out a new model of peer-to-peer support and challenge and undertaking a range of internal reviews of all our schools. We are looking for Ofsted inspectors, with experience of inspecting specialist provision, to support our senior leaders in implementing this model.  Ideally you will have experience of inspecting independent schools but this is not essential as full training will be available.

You would be expected to lead a small team of reviewers to undertake quality assurance visits to our schools and provide advice, support, challenge and guidance to help us maintain our high quality provision. You will plan and undertake reviews and write short and sharp focussed reports of any visits. Most importantly you must be able to mentor and coach those people who will be part of your team and you should be able to identify excellent practice and aspects that could be improved further.

In the first instance please send an expression of interest (no more than one side of A4), setting out your experience and knowledge in SEMH, SLD or ASD to Michael Blakey Group Quality & Compliance Director, by Monday 14th August. Please email your expression of interest to mblakey@nfa.org.uk

If you’re successful at the first stage you will be invited to complete an application form online and we will be in touch to invite you to an interview. You will also be subject to an enhanced DBS check as part of our safer recruitment process.

We are an equal opportunities employer.
