The Charterhouse Building is the college's Design and Technology and Expressive Arts Block containing Food Technology, Resistant Materials, Design and Technology and Art classrooms and also has an ICT suite.

The names of the buildings reflect the life and death of the college's patron, St Thomas More. The college is surrounded by extensive playing fields and grassed areas, and our Badge represents the commitment of Saint Thomas More to his Catholic faith and principles as expressed before his execution in 1535: "...Bonus Dei Servitor Prius..." "...the King's good servant but God's first..." Saint Thomas More was filled with the courage of the Holy Spirit and gave his life for his faith. In our college we strive to live out our Christian ideals and faith because only by doing that will we grow as a Christian community.

Aims Of The School

There is a friendly and experienced teaching staff in the college that work together to support our Christian Ethos and ensure that each student is enabled to achieve their full potential. We are listed in the Good Schools Guide. The curriculum management structure in the school supports National Curriculum subject areas, Religious Education and Whole School Development. All staff are supported by a Senior Management team. There is a strong team of support staff including teaching support staff, secretaries, librarian/reprographics assistant, ICT, ADT and Science technicians, caretakers, lunchtime assistants, cleaners and kitchen staff.
