Holy Spirit College is a Catholic co-educational secondary school located in the rapidly developing suburb of Fitzgibbon in North Brisbane, approximately 15km from Brisbane City. The College opened in January 2022 with 96 Year 7 students and will increase by one year level each year until it reaches Year 12.  We currently have 200 Year 7 & 8 students.

We are seeking an experienced IT Technician to provide technical support to our College’s students, teachers, and staff.

The role of the IT Technician is to support the mission of Holy Spirit College and to maintain the effective functioning of the ICT Helpdesk and support systems, operating as the first point of contact for all IT support within the College.  The IT Technician also coordinates the repair of devices for the College’s laptop program, liaising with external agencies to organise their repair. This position will report to the Business Manager and will work closely with teachers and staff to support and troubleshoot technology-related issues.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.

Weeks worked:  School term weeks only (holidays unpaid)

Tenure duration (where Fixed Term)

Total Paid Hours (per week) & days required: 25 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

Salary level, range or hourly rate: School Officer Level 3 - $30.97 per hour

Employment conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement
