St Clare’s High School is a mixed, secondary, independent, mainstream, Roman Catholic high school in Taree, New South Wales. The school has approximately 740 pupils enrolled and caters to students between Year 7 and Year 12.
St Clare’s High School was founded in 1926, overseen by the Sisters of St Joseph, Lochinvar, and initially only catered to secondary school students. Due to its growing student population it opened a new secondary school, Rosary High, in 1962. A third building was built on the present site and was called Taree Catholic High School. In 1986, the school was renamed St Clare’s High School.
