Job overview
SCHOOL SITE MANAGER - REQUIRED FOR FEBRUARY 2019 35 Hours per week, 52 Weeks per year (Scale 7, salary £28,497 TO 30,249)
Castlebar is an ‘Outstanding’ Special School (June 2018) for primary aged children. The school is also the lead school for the Ealing Primary Teaching School Alliance. We are very proud of our achievements, but more than anything we are proud of the children we are privileged to work with.
Due to retirement of our wonderful site manager, we are looking for a well-qualified, motivated and experienced individual to take on this rewarding and fulfilling role. We would like to hear from you if you have recent experience working within a school or similar setting. You must be a pleasant and willing individual with the ability to remain calm and cheerful under pressure. You will also have a ‘can do’ attitude and have developed a good range of DIY skills. You should also be able to work both within a team and under your own initiative. This will be a busy and demanding position.
The person appointed will be able to communicate at all levels, with students, staff, parents and the local community as necessary. Normal working hours will be from 10.00am to 6.00pm with occasional overtime. This is a 52 week contract so will include working during school holidays.
For further information please follow the link to our school web site where you can download the application pack and gain a comprehensive insight into our school. School website: www.castlebar.ealing.sch.uk/our-school/vacancies/
The deadline for applications is: 7th January 2019 (noon)
Interviews will be held on: 16th January 2019
Candidates are welcome to visit the school. Please contact the school office for a suitable date and time.
Castlebar is committed to Safeguarding Children - All candidates will require Enhanced DBS clearance. Candidates who have lived or worked abroad may require an overseas police check and will be asked to provide a good conduct certificate.
