Applications are sought for a full-time SSI to join us from September 2019 (or sooner). It is expected that the successful candidate will offer five days a week during term time, with additional weekend and holiday expeditions or camps (including the annual CCF camp).
Military experience and a military background or experience of working within a Cadet force are essential. The preferred candidate will also demonstrate: an ability to work closely with young people, both individually and in small groups; resilience, resourcefulness, initiative and flexibility; and excellent skills in literacy, numeracy, communication, organisation, time management, ICT, interpersonal and teamwork.
Leadership of the Adventure Education department will be an essential component of the role. Knowledge of the DofE system and an ability to support with coaching sport would be advantageous.
