The Elmgreen School became part of the Dunraven Educational Trust in September 2021, and together, we are focused on developing an exciting, dynamic and progressive community, focused on improving the outcomes for children and their families.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • support the effective and efficient teaching and learning in Design Technology and other practical subjects through the provision of technical and other support;
  • provide a technical support service to the Technology and Art Departments;
  • check the maintenance machinery, tools, components and accessories including determining maintenance schedules and keeping appropriate records in the teaching spaces used by the department;
  • carry out repairs where appropriate, arranging for maintenance and repairs to be carried out where required and reporting defects in the Premises to the Premises Manager.

About The Elmgreen School

The Elmgreen School is a unique 11-18 secondary school. It is a non denominational mixed school which opened to its first cohort of year 7 students in September 2007.   The secondary Hearing Impaired Unit is co-located within the school. We will reach our full complement of 1100 students in 2014 which will include a 200 place sixth form. The school moved to its inspirational new building in September 2009.

The school is non selective and provides a creative and innovative curriculum, encouraging the highest standards of teaching and learning within an ethos of mutual respect, harmony and achievement.
