To work 5 days per week, term time plus 2 weeks (i.e. 40 weeks)
Actual salary: £20,940 to £22,341 (with less than 5 years local government service)
We are looking to appoint a Level 4 TA to support learning within our Science Department.
GCSE or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths is essential for this post and experience/qualifications in Science would be an advantage.
Promoting self-esteem, encouraging pupils to act independently and supporting academic and personal development are all vital to this role.
Successful candidates will need to have high expectations of all pupils’ attainment and behaviour, be enthusiastic about students’ learning, determined to get the best out of each student and be willing to immerse themselves in all aspects of school life.
Candidates must be available to work on a full time basis (36.25 hours per week). Monday to Friday, 8.15 am to 4.00 pm – term time (plus 2 weeks).
