We are an improving school and are seeking to appoint an outstanding and aspiring 2nd in Science who is ambitious, dynamic and dedicated to ensuring the continuing improvement of standards in our department. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified and excellent teacher to join the leadership of the science and technology department who are all strongly committed to the achievement of our students.
The role will include working alongside the curriculum leader to develop strategic oversight of the department to ensure outstanding outcomes

Whittington Green School, formerly The Meadows Community School, is a mixed 11-16 secondary school located in Old Whittington, Derbyshire.
Whittington Green School offers an Enhanced Resource for hearing impaired students. On-site special support and resources include individual teaching of language programmes to hearing impaired students with a wide range of needs. The Enhanced Resource is staffed by a teacher of the deaf and seven communication support workers.
