Job overview

Vision for Education are looking to speak to Science teachers with a Chemistry specialism to cover a part-time maternity cover at a successful, small Secondary setting near to Chesterfield. The school is looking for a fully qualified, and experienced Teacher of Science who is able to teach Chemistry up to A-Level to a high standard. 

The position is a temporary, part time post with an immediate start. It is expected for this position to carry through until the end of the academic year in July 2018. Planning and marking responsibilities will be shared, and you will be given timetabled PPA to arrange this.

The pupils within school are generally very well behaved and have high aspirations for their own attainment. The schools believes fully in unlocking each child’s motivations, and working with their pupils to keep them motivated to a mutually agreed learning target dependent on abilities.

We require all teachers who register with Vision for Education to have a current valid DBS registered to the update service, or able to complete a Vision for Education DBS, references covering the last 2 years of your career, and either a Batchelor of Education with QTS, PGCE, have completed a GTP, or ITT within a school and are not currently subject to an outstanding investigation.

Please ensure to bring along with you:

· DBS/CRB registered to the Update Service

· 2 proofs of address dated within the last 3 months

· Passport or Driving licence and Birth certificate

· Qualification Certificates.

· Teacher Number.

· Certifications, e.g. Team Teach, NPECTS etc.
