Job overview
Vision for Education are looking to appoint a Science Teacher, with a Physics specialism to a long term placement within one of our partnered schools in the Barnsley area. We are looking to speak to teachers who have a passion for progress, and deliverance of exciting, and engaging practical, and theoretical Science lessons. You will be asked to teach General Science to Key Stage 3 and 4, and Physics A-Level.
The school we are working with are a large academy based in Barnsley, a well-funded academy with up to date equipment, top of the range Science classrooms, with accessible apparatus for practical lessons, and a dedicated Science technician readily available for support, and lesson preparation. The role will be a full time, planning and assessing role, and will be paid to scale.
We require all teachers who register with Vision for Education to have a current valid DBS registered to the update service, or able to complete a Vision for Education DBS, references covering the last 2 years of your career, and either a Batchelor in Education with QTS, Trained to degree level with a PGCE, have completed a GTP, or ITT within a school and are not currently subject to an outstanding investigation.
Please ensure to bring along with you:
· DBS/CRB registered to the Update Service
· 2 proofs of address dated within the last 3 months
· Passport or Driving licence and Birth certificate
· Qualification Certificates.
· Teacher Number.
· Certifications, e.g. Team Teach, NPECTS etc.
