Smart Teachers are currently recruiting for a Science Teacher for our elite client school located in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. This independent school is set within tranquil grounds and provides a rounded learning environment that boasts continual academic success. The dynamic Science department are looking for a teacher to join them in January 2018.

About the Role:

  • Teaching Years 7 – 10 Science
  • Part time (0.8 FTE), permanent role
  • Position to commence January 2018
  • Potential to continue to full time in 2019 with the ability to take on STEM
  • Pastoral duties as required

About You:
 In order to be considered for this role you will need to meet the following criteria;

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification in Secondary Education (recognised in      Australia)
  • Experience teaching Science across the Secondary age range with high academic success
  • Dedication to student academic, pastoral and social welfare
  • Be registered, or have the ability to be registered with New South Wales Education Standards Authority & Working With Children Check
  • Possess current and relevant references
  • Have the right to work in Australia
