Science Technician

This is an opportunity to work in a well-resourced department and join a dedicated team of colleagues within the Science department. 

Candidates should have good inter-personal skills; a confident manner; good literacy/numeracy skills and be educated to NVQ Level 2. In addition, a keen interest in this area of work and willingness to contribute to the flexible delivery of the service are essential requirements of this post.

We are looking for an excellent technician, who is determined to make a difference to our students; you will be motivated and passionate about learning; a good team player with a commitment to high quality, inclusive education and be willing and able to contribute to the wider school community. 

Fir Vale School is a large 11- 16 mixed secondary school located in the North of Sheffield. The school has a high proportion of pupils for whom Fir Vale School is their first preference.
