St. George's British International School in Bilbao is looking to appoint a History Teacher, English Speaker, with qualified teacher status to join our fantastic team of secondary Staff.

You will be expected to teach:

- History (Main)

- Geography

- English

- PSHE


QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• A relevant first degree & Teacher Education qualification in History or similar

• Excellent subject specialist knowledge

• English mother tongue level

• Qualified teaching status (QTS)

• A clear philosophy on student achievement

• An ability to challenge all students to achieve make excellent progress, appropriate to their needs

• An ability to contribute meaningfully to the pastoral welfare of students in your care

• An up to date knowledge of current educational developments

• Eligible to work in the E.U.

• Experience teaching second language learners of English.

• Experience in midle management (Key Stage or Subject Leader) will be a plus.
