St Monica’s College is an all-girls, independent secondary school in Queensland, serving students from the age of 11-18. The secondary school is situated in Cairns, close to sporting venues, restaurants and theatres. There are approximately 645 pupils on record.

St Monica’s College boasts state-of-the-art learning facilities, including a drama studio, music rooms, a specialist Learning Support Centre, a well-stocked library, science laboratories, computer suites, a multi-purpose hall and expansive outside grounds.
Curriculum
St Monica’s College follows the Queensland Curriculum and places great emphasis on providing each student with a personalised learning programme, allowing for them to gain the support and encouragement that will enable them to go on to succeed and reach their full potential. In Year 11 and 12, VET courses are available to study, while learning support is offered for those pupils requiring additional assistance. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered outside of the classroom, including sports clubs, debating clubs, camps, retreats and art class. There are also language exchange programmes with tours to countries including Japan and Italy.

St Monica’s College encourages parents to get involved with activities and has an active Parents & Friends Association, allowing for them to meet up with other parents and have their say in the running of the school.
