St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Bundaberg recognises the charisms of the Sisters of Mercy and the Presentation Sisters in its history at the current site where it has been since 1994. The original St Mary’s school opened in 1952 under the guidance of the Sisters of Mercy, until it amalgamated with Holy Spirt School which was run by the Presentation Sisters prior to the relocation to the current site. St Mary’s School is a co-educational facility catering for children from Prep to Year Six in the southern suburbs of Bundaberg.
St Mary’s Catholic Primary School Bundaberg is seeking applications for this full-time continuing position of Learning Support Teacher.
This position will commence from 18 January 2021.
What we are looking for:-
We are seeking a skilful practitioner whose area of speciality is the identification of particular learning needs and the design of programs and strategies, in partnership with classroom teachers, to meet the specific needs of a student/s and assisting them to access the curriculum appropriately.

- Established knowledge of, and experience in, curriculum initiatives
- Demonstrated strong and effective communication and collaboration with students, parents and staff
- Current Queensland College of Teaching Registration or ability to obtain before commencement
