Job overview

The Business School at Uxbridge College is highly successful, with ambitions to develop and deliver T Levels in 2022. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational individual to the role of Section Manager for Business, who can demonstrate a track record of successful teaching and learning and raising standards. You would provide leadership for a team of Lecturers, manage study programmes, develop provision across the Section and teach across a range of programmes including BTEC Levels 1 - 3.  You would continue to increase and develop our links with employers, which are integral to successful student work placements and course enrichment.  

You will need to possess a relevant degree and a teaching qualification, at least three years’ relevant successful teaching experience including the delivery of BTEC Business programmes levels 1 - 3, and have good leadership skills with experience of curriculum management and of leading and motivating a team.  Experience of teaching in Higher Education and of delivering commercial courses is desirable.
