An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for a committed individual to join Special Educational Needs and Inclusion Department at Saint Benedict Catholic Voluntary Academy, part of the St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi Academy Trust.
The SEND department is developing rapidly and caters to pupils with a wide range of needs. Staff in the department are friendly and supportive.
We are looking for a patient, hardworking, enthusiastic LSA who is flexible, adaptable with the ability to use his or her own initiative.
The ideal candidate should have a recognised TA qualification, GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above) as well as recent experience of working with children aged 11-19 years.
Experience in supporting pupils with ASD and social and emotional issues would be an advantage.
This post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
