ABC Teachers are currently recruiting for experienced Nursery Assistants to work at an SEN provision in Hinckley which caters for the needs of children aged 2-5.

The role will be on a cover basis throughout the final term of the academic year with the option of also working at the South Leicester site if suitable.

About the provision:

  • The provision can cater up to 40 pupils with Special Educational Needs.
  • It has consistently received Good in Ofsted inspections.
  • Sister site located in South Leicester also has opportunity for work for local candidates.

Who we're looking for:

  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs is essential. EYFS experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Nursery Assistants, TA's, LSA's and Support Workers will all be considered for this position.
  • You'll need to be confident in supporting the development of young learners with Autism, MLD and SLD.
  • Availability for a minimum of two days a week.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
