Smart Teachers is recruiting for SEN TA/ Special Needs Teaching Assistants to support pupils at a ‘Good’ school in Ealing. These positions are at a much-improved primary school in Greenford, West London. This school is now an extremely popular place to work, led by a very realistic and supportive headteacher. The school will require SEN TA/ Special Needs Teaching Assistants to support children with SEN, either in their on site SEN unit or within the mainstream classrooms. SEN TA/ Special Needs Teaching Assistants are required across the school to support children with a range of needs including ASD.

The role

  • SEN TA/ Special Needs Teaching Assistants to support children on a 1:1 basis.
  • To help raise attainment and run interventions.
  • Adhere strictly to school safeguarding policies, and provide equal learning opportunities for all children.
  • To work closely with class teacher and SENCO.
  • £70-£80 per day

Requirements

  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
  • Have strong communication skills, along with a strong work ethic and degree of flexibility
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Experience supporting SEN is desirable but not essential.
