Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs to help improve their outcomes? Do you want to further your development in a successful SEN department? Our ‘Good school’ (Ofsted, September 2016), is looking to recruit an SEN Teacher, who is passionate about reducing disadvantage and promoting the inclusion of students with special educational needs.

Cardinal Wiseman is a small secondary school with a community of teachers and pupils who show care and compassion for each other. As a Catholic school we recognise the special nature of every individual and celebrate differences between us. This is evident in our Learning Support team where teamwork and a focus on positive relationships is at the heart of their work.

Our excellent Learning Support Department is looking to build on the high quality of additional support that they provide for our students, with the appointment of a qualified teacher who is skilled and experienced in identifying and supporting special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a high degree of adaptability, knowledge about autism and specific learning difficulties, and a true sense of vocation for the role.
