About our school

At Highcroft School we provide placements for pupils who reside in Keys Group residential homes and for day pupils. We are committed to each and every one of our pupils and provide specialist support which is individually tailored to meet the unique needs of the pupils.

Overview of the role of SEN Teacher:

· Plan and teach lessons, working with small groups and individual students.

· Prepare teaching materials, take registers and write reports

· Help students develop confidence, independence and encourage them to learn

· Manage behaviour, mark work and talk to parents and carers about their children's progress

We would love to hear from people who:

· Passionate champions of students with SEND

· At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment

Situated in a quiet, rural village the school offers a nurturing and safe environment for the children attending. Individual Education Plans ensure each pupil works through a differentiated National Curriculum programme of study appropriate to their ability and Key Stage.
