Based at Wells Hall Primary School, Great Cornard, Sudbury.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to join the County Inclusion Support Service (CISS); a new Suffolk County Council service that supports children and young people who have a diagnosis of autism, traits of autism, social, emotional and mental health difficulties and all associated behaviours.
You will:
- work to enhance inclusion for vulnerable pupils in schools in the locality
- need to undertake a Warner interview and an enhanced DBS check.
You must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- experience of teaching in either mainstream, special school or both
- a commitment to inclusive education an understanding of ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and social, emotional and mental health issues in a mainstream setting.
You will be required to travel between schools and other venues across Suffolk, so you must hold a valid driving licence and have access to personal transport.
