Job overview

SEN TEACHERS with Specialist Education Services

Teachers' Pay Scale + SEN enhancement of £2539

Are you disillusioned with the education system? Do you want the freedom to innovate and explore all opportunities for the most disadvantaged children?

Specialist Education Services is looking for qualified teachers to join our team of SEN teachers and TAs, providing a personalised learning curriculum for the children and young people in our care. Specific subject experience is less important to us than a good teaching record and flexibility and creativity in curriculum delivery.

We are a company with a national reputation for excellence in our work with Looked After Children and outstanding staff support and development, underpinned by a “No Limits” approach. Our two establishments, Avocet House and Turnstone House based on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, are dual registered as schools and children’s homes, both holding good Ofsted judgements for education.

SES delivers a potent learning experience, with a radical and innovative approach. We set no limits for the progress of our young people or for the development of our staff. A post with SES is ideal for candidates who feel they would relish the opportunity to be part of a team that is creating exciting personalised learning programmes for children.

It is always worth a conversation with us if you are unsure whether this work is for you, or to get more information to help you make your decision. If you are interested then please contact us on 01508 549320, or alternatively visit www.specialisteducation.co.uk for more information.

SES is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Appointments are dependent on a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure.

We are an equal opportunity employer with diversity and inclusion at the centre of everything we do.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 19 May 2024.

Proposed interview date is Thursday 23 May 2024.
