We are currently looking to recruit an outstanding Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant for a school located in Kings Norton. This school caters for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties who are 11 to 19 years of age. You will be joining an outstanding school that has a long running history of achieving the full potential of its students. 

This role will begin in September and be on a fixed term contract until the end of the academic year. You will be working with a year 9 class, supporting students on a 1:1 basis and with small groups. This school ensured that there are small class sizes with a high number of staff within each. 

The ideal candidate –

·  Level 3 TA qualification

·  Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)

· Build rapport with the children

· In date DBS & on the Update Service  

Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
