ABC Teachers part of TES are currently looking for a confident Teaching Assistant for a position in a Special Educational Needs school located in Coventry. This will be an ongoing part time role beginning in September, where you will be working with pupils aged between 11 and 19.
This school caters for pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties and ASD; the ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience working with children with Special Needs. You will assist them by working with them 1:1 and in small groups to tailor learning to the individual and ensure all students receive the support they require to enhance their learning.
The ideal candidate –
· Level 2 TA qualification
· Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)
· Build rapport with the children
· In date DBS & on the Update Service
Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
